THIS EVENT HAS BEEN CANCELLED
With the Federal Election taking place on September 20, 2021, The Chilliwack Arts & Cultural Centre Society is proud to announce that The Chilliwack Cultural Centre will host an All-Candidates Meeting for the Chilliwack-Hope Riding. Taking place in The Centre’s HUB International Theatre at 7:00 pm on September 14, 2021, this All-Candidates Meeting will provide a platform for members of the community to pose questions to the parliamentary candidates for the Chilliwack-Hope Riding.
The event will be moderated by Paul Henderson from The Progress, who will pose questions to the candidates that have been submitted by the public prior to the debate, as well as field questions from audience attendees. Questions can be submitted before the event through this link: https://pigeonhole.at/2121CCCELECTIONFORUM
As one of the few pre-election debates in Chilliwack-Hope open to the public, and with expected attendance from all five of the local election candidates, this event will be a key opportunity to engage with the Federal Election campaign in Chilliwack-Hope.
All community members are encouraged to attend, however, capacity is limited to 280 people, including candidates. Entry will be by donation, with all proceeds going towards The Centre’s Angel Fund; a program that provides Arts & Crafts classes for local youth that may not otherwise be able to afford to attend.
This event will also be live-streamed. Details coming soon on The Centre’s website page!
Tickets are by donation, and registration is required. For more information, and to register, contact the Centre Box Office, online at www.chilliwackculturalcentre.ca, or by calling 604-391-SHOW(7469).
