Chilliwack Ribfest 2024

July 26th to 28th, 2024 – Get ready as Chilliwack Ribfest returns to Vedder River Park for its second year.

Hosted by The Greater Vancouver Food Truck Festival in collaboration with Total Event Co. and BC Shop Local, this event is a highlight for culinary enthusiasts and Chilliwack community members alike.

Featuring 5 of Canada's best ribbers: Prairie Smoke & Spice, Smoke Dem Bones, Guerilla Q, Boss Hogs, and Gator BBQ, the festival will offer an array of rib and side options that are sure to satisfy every palate. Chilliwack Ribfest is proud to have Chilliwack local Johnston's Quality Meats as our pork provider for this year's event.

In addition to these mouth-watering meat options, attendees will also be able to enjoy our beer garden and food from various top-notch local trucks.

Family Fun and Entertainment

Beyond the food, the festival is a family affair with extensive activities in the Kid Zone—featuring a ninja zone, bounce houses, and face painting, ensuring that the little ones have as much fun as the adults.

This year's event features a stellar live entertainment lineup with nine local bands curated by Chilliwack's own McDonald Entertainment, with the schedule as follows:

The event will also have an Artisan Market hosted by BC Shop Local with unique and handmade items for sale from 12 local small business vendors: Amotiyo, Beloved By Emily, Faded Barn Customs, Island Jerky, Lilac Rain Crafts, Loving The Bling, Our Little Soap Company, Priority Candles, Relaxation Island, Slow Sunday Foods Ltd., Sunshine Pup Co and West Coast Alchemist.

Grey Cup Festival Truck

Adding to the excitement, the Grey Cup Festival Truck will make a stop at Chilliwack Ribfest on Friday, July 26. The truck will feature fun activities, BC Lions branded merchandise, and a video booth where fans can record clips for a chance to win a Grey Cup grand prize. There will be a giant inflatable Grey Cup, corn hole, and throwing games!

Convenient Shuttle Service

To make visitor experience seamless and enjoyable, Chilliwack Ribfest is offering a free shuttle service with 3 convenient pickup locations:

1. University of Fraser Valley Parking Lots 3, 6-10
2. Stitó:s Lá:lém Totí:lt Elementary / Middle School Parking Lot
3. Watson Glen Park and School Parking Lot
